Paid Media Consultant
Building a strong client portfolio, I maximise client growth through shaping and executing future-proofed cross-media strategies. Here, I lead campaigns for clients on a strategic and operational level. I successfully integrate with client teams to drive more informed decision-making across their business and facilitate more effective customer targeting. I develop and perform staff training sessions to ensure maximum support from client teams throughout marketing projects and campaign lifecycles. Alternatively, I deliver effective support to media agencies with their extra workload (inc. Google’s fastest-growing agency). I support preparations of pitch work, competitor analysis, post-campaign analysis, reporting, AB testing and account auditing.
2019 - 2020
Paid Media Director
Reporting to the MD to lead the delivery of client digital marketing campaigns, I worked on seven UK-based eCommerce accounts. Here, I shaped high-impact paid media campaigns to over exceed ambitious ROAS and revenue targets, assuring that they were highly targeted and scalable. I oversaw and optimised search, social, and shopping channels, rendering maximum brand exposure while maintaining profitability. I worked closely with the content director to shape and deliver omnichannel campaigns, ensuring all messaging was consistent across all channels.
2014 - 2016
Online Marketing Manager
Reporting to the MD, I led Search, Display, and Paid Social Activity from defining strategy through the implementation stage. Here, I focused heavily on digital acquisition, maximising online conversion rates, while infusing compelling messaging across multiple channels. I also performed ongoing analysis of the digital landscape to ensure that campaigns benefitted from the latest developments in the market. I managed, coached, and mentored a team of two people, identifying training needs, coaching them into progressively expanded roles, and securing healthy leadership pipelines.
Working with various eCommerce clients and tech giants, I performed effective campaign management, including creating, trafficking, and monitoring large-scale campaigns across Facebook and Twitter. I used sophisticated technology to exceed DR targets. Here, I ensured accurate campaign reporting using a data-driven approach to optimise campaign performance and provide actionable insights that facilitated future decision-making across client marketing channels.
2012 - 2013
Developing highly effective biddable media strategies, I worked on a portfolio of high-budget accounts (£100K+), overseeing entire campaign development lifecycles. Being the main point of contact for six client accounts, including a luxury brand, a luxury travel agent, a telecoms provider, an insurance company and two FMCG brands, I strengthened client relationships across the portfolio. Here, I authored performance forecasts prior to launch and post-campaign evaluations on completion. I managed and trained a team of two while regulating optimisation work and day-to-day account management.
Paid Media Analyst
Continuously demonstrating increased authority across several eCommerce accounts, I employed complex attribution modelling techniques and conversion path reporting to exceed ambitious performance targets. Here, I developed team processes, aiming to regulate optimisation work while leading hands-on PPC training. I played a key role in the continual evolution of the PPC approach and shared best practice and innovation across the agency. Ensuring accurate and prudent bid management, I used a suite of tools, including Marin, GA and DoubleClick, to manage both Search and GDN campaigns across all engines.
2010 - 2012
Working closely with account managers, clients and media owners, I ensured that Paid Search campaigns were efficiently managed and optimised. Here, I kickstarted my career in paid media working for the UK's leading telecoms company. I liaised with other agencies (SEO, Creative) to achieve cross-media synergy. Building and updating performance reports, I produced actionable insights that improved campaign efficiencies and increased ROI. I gained a comprehensive knowledge of leading analytics platforms, including Ignition One, Omniture, and Google Analytics.
I represented my cohort. I took over as team leader of two group projects.
